Shaken-not-rolled

Some interesting behavior was noticed when shaking the dough with a sugar and powder mixture.

A. dough pieces in a lidded contain with cinnamon and sugar ready for shaking. B. Huh – the dough seems to only have cinnamon on it and none of the granulated sugar. C. Shaking with just sugar provides a nice even coating like a sugared donut. D. After introducing the powdered vanilla, most of the granulated sugar has been displaced.
